1955

Guillaume Cornelis van Deverloo, better known under his pseudonym   Corneille (1922-2010), was a Dutch artist. One of the founders of the REFLEX  movement in 1948 and also the COBRA movement in 1949, the poetic Corneille was strongly influenced by Miro and Klee.

The eternal optimist Corneille channelled fellow dutchman Van Gogh using vibrant reflexive colors amid his abstractions.
